It is on the highlands of central Iran that men and women from local villages pick the Damascus roses, worldly recognize for its health benefits.

It is during the few days I have spent with them that I could photograph this serie and document the traditional processus of making rose water that will then be exported to Europe and countries of the region for cosmetic and alimentary purposes.
